TN Bureau of Worker’s Compensation REWARD program
This presentation emphasizes the importance of effective Return-to-Work (RTW) strategies in workers’ compensation. It outlines key statistics, ?nancial impacts, and evidence of RTW success. The presentation provides practical guidance including developing proactive medical panels, designating a RTW coordinator, working collaboratively with physicians, reducing barriers to care, and creating individualized RTW plans that address physical, psychological, and organizational factors.
It also introduces Tennessee’s resources such as the REWARD Toolkit designed to support employers and injured workers in achieving timely, safe, and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
